LYDIA, Sardis. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (31mm, 12.48 g, 12h). Gaios. Sal. Klaudianos, archon for the second time. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, decorated with star and aegis, seen from the front / Kore standing facing, poppy on either side. Kurth 554; Horchard 2034; RPC VI Online 4484.2 (this coin); SNG München 529. Dark brown surfaces, some roughness, a hint of smoothing. Good VF. Very rare, only four known to RPC, including this coin.
